JAZZ FESTIVAL IN ALANYA GAINED APPRECIATION

The 19th Alanya International Jazz Festival, held this year, provided unforgettable moments for jazz enthusiasts over four days. Local and international artists took the stage at the festival held in front of the historic Red Tower, as the audience was captivated by the enchanting atmosphere of the music.

The 19th Alanya International Jazz Festival, organized by the Alanya Municipality, has come to an end. Starting on Thursday, September 26, and lasting for four days at the Red Tower Square with a stunning view, the festival offered jazz lovers unforgettable moments.

“I’VE NEVER SANG IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE”

On the first day of the festival, Hayati Kafe and Judith Nijland took the stage and gave the audience a wonderful musical feast. During the night when Hayati Kafe’s birthday was celebrated, the artist’s words, “I’ve never sung in such a beautiful place,” were met with great applause.

On the second day of the festival, one of Turkey’s prominent jazz musicians, Selen Beytekin, and the world-renowned Cecilia Krull took the stage. Krull, known for her song “My Life Is Going On” from the series La Casa De Papel, garnered great appreciation. On the third day of the festival, where Dilek Sert Erdoğan and Kimberly Nichole performed, Erdoğan’s impactful messages and powerful voice received full marks from the audience. Kimberly Nichole, with her energetic performance on stage, provided unforgettable moments for jazz enthusiasts. On the final night of the festival, Barış Doğukan Yazıcı Quartet and Monica Molina performed. Jazz lovers, who experienced music-filled moments for four days, concluded the festival with Molina’s mesmerizing voice.

The 19th Alanya International Jazz Festival left an unforgettable mark on art lovers’ memories, providing music-filled moments to its audience once again this year.
