The 6th International Alanya Orienteering Festival, held in different regions of our Alanya, has ended. Participating in the festival from more than 62 clubs of 17 different countries a total of over 360 athletes from 46 different categories, from 10 to 80+ age, have competed.
The 6th International Alanya Orienteering Festival, held in different regions of our Alanya, has ended. Participating in the festival from more than 62 clubs of 17 different countries a total of over 360 athletes from 46 different categories, from 10 to 80+ age, have competed.
The festival was held during 5 days in Aromatic Cennet Valley, Gedevet, Alanya Bazaar, Cebeli Reis and Kızlıkule Tophane Neighborhood. In the organization, which was held in accordance with the conditions of the pandemic, the athletes found the determined points with the help of the map and compass.
The award ceremony held at the Kızılkule Square attended the Alanya District Governor Fatih Ürkmezer, the Provincial Youth and Sports Department Head Yavuz Gürhan, the Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, the Alanya District Youth and Sports Department Head Nazif Emre Kıldırgıcı, the Konyaaltı District Youth and Sports Department Head Buğrahan Bozkurt, the Alanya Police Chief Alper Avcı, the President of Alanya Nature Sports Club Mehmet Zafer Peker, the athletes and their families. The athletes ranking the best received their medals according to the protocol.
