Young Fashion Designer Alara Kaptanoğlu realized the shootings of her first creation named “Incandescent” in Alanya Dim Cave.
Young Fashion Designer preferred earth tones in her evening dress collection designed using satin and transparent fabrics.
Stating that she was inspired by the period movies she has admired since her childhood while designing her collection, Kaptanoğlu said, “Corsets are the starting point of this first collection. I wanted to include corsets, which women used to make their waists look thin in the past, on the chest and neck in a modern style. I tried to bring together the past and today’s understanding of evening dresses. The name of the collection “Incandescent”, which means dazzling, refers to this magnificent meeting of the past and the present.”
Alara Kaptanoğlu continues her master’s degree in fashion design after successfully completing her bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and product design at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan.
