The countdown has begun for the 19th Alanya International Jazz Festival, organized by Alanya Municipality this year. The festival, to be held from September 26-29, will offer an unforgettable musical feast for art lovers.
Alanya Municipality, organizing the 19th Alanya International Jazz Festival this year, aims to provide unforgettable moments for art enthusiasts in the field of culture and arts. Abdurrahman Açıkalın, the Mayor’s Advisor and Festival Coordinator, met with the Organizing Committee, which is continuing its preparations. Açıkalın emphasized that this festival, which is the longest-running and uninterrupted festival after Istanbul, is of great importance in enhancing Alanya’s cultural value. He also noted that from this year onwards, they plan to extend the festival to a full week.
WORLD-FAMOUS JAZZ ARTISTS WILL GATHER IN ALANYA
The 19th Alanya International Jazz Festival, which has become one of the leading festivals in Turkey and internationally, will host renowned artists over four days. Held at the historical Red Tower Square under the lights of Alanya Castle, the festival will welcome world jazz stars. The opening concert will kick off on the evening of Thursday, September 26, with Hayati Kafe taking the stage at 8:30 PM, followed by Judith Nijland at 10:00 PM. On Friday, September 27, Selen Beytekin will perform at 8:30 PM, and Cecilia Krull at 10:00 PM. On Saturday, September 28, Dilek Sert Erdoğan will perform at 8:30 PM, followed by Kimberly Nichole at 10:00 PM. The festival will close on Sunday, September 29, with Barış Doğukan Yazıcı performing at 8:30 PM and Spanish artist Molica Molina, one of the most important and popular names in the jazz world, at 10:00 PM.
