World´s Best Local Organisation Award to ALANYA Triathlon

Organized in cooperation with the Turkish Triathlon Federation and Alanya Municipality, the Alanya Triathlon received an award in the category of “The Most Successful Local Organization of the Year” from the European Triathlon Union. The award was presented to Alanya Deputy Mayor Hasan Erdoğan.

Turkey won three awards at the awards night organized by the European Triathlon Union in Spain. The “The Most Developing National Federation of the Year” and “The Most Developing Country in the Youth Category” awards were given to Turkey at a special night held in Spain by the European Triathlon Union. On the same night, Alanya Triathlon received an award in the category of “The Most Successful Local Organization of the Year”.

WORLD’S BEST LOCAL ORGANIZATION AWARD

Turkish Triathlon Federation and Alanya Municipality have paid off for the steps they have taken in recent years on a national and international scale regarding the triathlon branch. Alanya Triathlon, which took place for the 30th time last year and is one of the oldest triathlon races in the world, was awarded in the category of “The Most Successful Local Organization of the Year” with its successful performance in the European Stars Championship in 2021.

AWARD WAS GIVEN TO HASAN ERDOĞAN

The award won by Alanya Municipality was handed over to Deputy Mayor of Alanya Hasan Erdoğan. Receiving this important award given by the most important authority in Europe, Hasan Erdoğan said, “We are proud that our Alanya Municipality is deemed worthy of such an award. We received our award on behalf of our Alanya Mayor, Mr. Adem Murat Yücel. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Alanya Triathlon once again and I receive this award on their behalf”.
