”Culinary Heritage” Gastronomy Work Tour Begins

Culinary Heritage, widely used in European countries began the first leg of Alanya Municipality is the first municipality in Alanya in Turkey Culinary Heritage area of the license rights to the system of Europe Gastronomy 5-day work tour. The tour will continue in Alanya on October 14-15-16 for 3 days and will continue in Gaziantep. Mediterranean flavors in the same round meeting with the flavor of Gaziantep will draw attention to the value of regional culinary heritage in Turkey.
 

THEY ADMIRED THE ALANYA CASTLE
 
Culinary Heritage participants who came to the city within the scope of Culinary Heritage Gastronomy Work Tour went to the Castle with the Cable Car and visited the unique historical places. The guests who admired Alanya Castle, which was prepared to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, joined the cocktail held at the Culinary Heritage House.
 
CULINARY HERITAGE HOUSE OPENED THE DOORS FOR THE FIRST TIME
 
The Culinary Heritage House, whose restoration has been completed by Alanya Municipality and which will be used to promote local delicacies, hosted its first guests. Culinary Heritage participants had the opportunity to taste the local delicacies in the garden of the restored historic house.
 
S FROM PASTA TO BAKLAVA, AVOCADODA TO LIMONATA EVERYTHING WAS PRESENTED TO GUESTS
 
Organized by the Environmental Protection and Control Directorate of Alanya Municipality, the tour of Alanya’s local delicacies exhibited to the participants was introduced at the Culinary Heritage House. Alanya style lemonade, S pastry, baklava, pumpkin with milk, water pastry, avocado delicacies and olive oil foods were presented to the guests.
 

WE ARE EXCITED to HOSTED FIRST INTERNATIONAL GASTRO TOUR IN TURKEY.
 
Sevda Erdoğmuş, Environmental Protection and Control Manager of Alanya Municipality who made the opening speech and gave information about the work tour; ”Scope of regional culinary heritage in Turkey due to host the first international tour of gastro extremely excited and honored. We host 32 Culinary Heritage coordinators from 7 countries in our city. As part of the tour, we will carry out extensive studies especially on bananas and avocados. We will take information about crop cultivation by making garden trips. I wish our tour to be beneficial on behalf of Alanya. ”

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel stated that Alanya is not only composed of sea, sand and sun and that the city offers a wide cuisine to its guests with its local delicacies. This work tour will make an important contribution to the promotion of our city. We have been working intensively in the national and international arena for 5 years with the thought that we should stand out in the gastronomy branch with our wide kitchen. Today, we have restored this wonderful house that smells of history. City Municipal we receive the initial license rights in Turkey.
