Alanya Municipality has started the countdown for the 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, which will be organized this year. The festival with the theme “Turkish Republics in the 100th Year of our Republic” will be a star-studded event. Yıldız Tilbe, Azerin, Tan Taşçı, Hadise, and Arslanbek Sultanbekov will perform during the festival.

THE FESTIVAL WILL START WITH YÖRÜK MIGRATION

The 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, organized by Alanya Municipality, will take place between June 2nd and June 4th this year. The theme of the 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival was determined as “Turkish Republics in the 100th Year of our Republic” to promote not only our country’s values but also the Turkish culture existing worldwide.

The traditional opening ceremony of the festival will start on Friday, June 2nd with the Yörük Migration and Festival Parade at 17:30 from the Monument Square. Then, at 18:30 at the “İskele Şelale”, the İzmir State Turkish World Dance and Music Ensemble will perform.

ARSLANBEK SULTANBEKOV, HADISE, TAN TAŞÇI, AZERIN, AND YILDIZ TİLBE CONCERTS

The 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival will be a star-studded event. The opening concert of the festival will be performed by Arslanbek Sultanbekov on Friday, June 2nd, at 21:00 on the large stage set up behind the Municipality Building. Then, at 22:00, the famous artist Hadise will take the stage. Tan Taşçı will perform his beloved songs for the people of Alanya on Saturday, June 3rd, at 22:00. The closing concerts on Sunday, June 4th, will feature Azerin at 21:00 and Yıldız Tilbe at 22:00.

THE RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE TURKIC WORLD WILL BE INTRODUCED AT THE FESTIVAL

Within the scope of the festival, elements of Turkish culture and art such as gastronomy, handicrafts, performing arts, literature, and music will be introduced. The aim is to strengthen cultural sharing at the international level and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic World to a wide audience.

COUNTRIES OF THE TURKISH STATES ORGANIZATION WILL PARTICIPATE

A special area will be created in the central square of the festival with a large tent and eight separate tents each measuring 25 square meters, set up by the Culture and Social Affairs Directorate. These tents will be allocated to the member countries of the Turkic States Organization (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan), and countries with observer status (Hungary, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Turkmenistan). In these tents, countries will present their traditional handicrafts (painting, felt, fabric, kilim, etc.), gastronomy, and culinary cultures.

VISUAL RICHNESS WILL BE ADDED TO THE FESTIVAL WITH EXHIBITIONS

The largest tent located in the central square and around it will host exhibitions such as the “100th Year Commemorative Coin Minting,” “Turkic Republics Tents Exhibition” (Central Square), “Miniature Atatürk Outfits Exhibition” (Central Square), “Red and White Flag Exhibition” (Central Square), “Archives of the Republic” Photography Exhibition (Central Square), ”

It will host nearly 400 stands and welcome visitors during the 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, organized by Alanya Municipality. The cultural and artistic stands will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic World, while the food and beverage stands will offer a taste of local Alanya delicacies. These stands are expected to attract a large number of visitors.

Invitation from Mayor Yücel to the Festival

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel invited all citizens to the festival, which will begin with the Yörük migration on Friday, June 2nd, and will be filled with various activities during the three days, both day and night. Mayor Yücel stated, “In this year’s 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, we have chosen the theme of Turkic Republics in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of our Republic. With our nearly 400 stands that will welcome guests at the harbour area and the concerts we will organize in the evenings, an unforgettable festival awaits us.
